The Hurdle I Can't Get Over - Mathematics

Mathematics has always been a major headache for me.

During junior high school, out of the six exercise books, not a single one was completely error-free for me; problems that other classmates could solve at a glance often took me a long time, sometimes leaving me completely clueless. This issue was magnified when we started studying quadratic functions in the third year of junior high. My homeroom teacher was constantly frustrated by this, criticizing my error-filled papers in class. When it came to the crucial quadratic function graph questions, I could only solve the first part in most cases... This resulted in me scoring only 90 points on the seemingly simple 2023 Shanxi Provincial Exam math paper (out of 120 points).

During the summer break at the preparatory class, I found myself clueless about solving quadratic inequalities and had also forgotten some parts of the "sets" topic, making solving problems feel like torture. Now, with the rise of interdisciplinary questions in subjects like Integrated Science and Mathematics, math seems to be everywhere, and I have no choice but to endure.

After starting high school, there was a period of review classes focusing on junior high school knowledge. However, my performance on those exercises was poor, making me doubt if I had ever really learned junior high school math.

It seems like everyone around me, whether online friends or classmates, never worry about mathematics. I know that information technology and mathematics are closely related, so why do I always struggle with math?
